There are so many multiplayer maps in Rogue Agent, 22 to be exact, but some are better than others. That is what this page
is about, to give you the scoop on the MP maps in the game. I'll tell you about the best sniper spots, best spots for cover,
and so on.
There are two different types of maps, original, and ripped. Original are maps that have been made specifically for multiplayer
(for example, the Goldengate Bridge), but rips are parts of levels that have been 'ripped' from the campaign mode (for example,
the transit tunnel map is ripped from the hoover dam stage). *UPDATE: DS map reviews are up, you can find them in the NDS
Version section.
Chemical Showdown
Number of Players: 4
Size: Medium
Type: Original
My Score: 3/5
Chemical Showdown is a pretty large map in comparison to the rest, though it isn't the biggest, you can still find some
good hiding spots and escape people trying to hunt you down. The thing I like about this place, is that it has quite a few
weapon placements, and thus making it easy to get a good gun in little time. it is good for 4 players, not to small or anything.
There aren't really any great sniper spots, I guess anywhere on the top roof would be okay if anywhere. So, there is some
quality to this map, but it isn't the best.
Carver's Press
Number of Players: 2
Size: Small
Type: Original
My Score: 4/5
This is maybe one of my favorite maps in the game, there are quite a few deathtraps here. It is a reference to the movie
Tomorrow Never Dies with Pierce Bronsnan as 007. That kinda boosts the coolness of it, and I really like the look of the place
with it's reflective checkerd floors and newspaper machines. It is a great map, unfortunetly the action is limited to 2 players.
Tips:
-The Mag-Rail is very good here, just stay on the opposite side of the wall of your opponent, and get them through the
wall. You can even go into the vent and use the Mag-Rail from there.
-If you are getting killed and in danger, run for the vent and hide in it until your life recharges. Watch out though,
you might want to look out behind you for your opponent!
-Break out the Goblin Mines, get in the vent, and place a Goblin Mine right at the entrance, then hide at the end of the
vent. When your opponent trys to follow you into the vent, they're in for an unpleasent suprise. Be sure to have a back up
plan from there, or even more Goblin Mines to stop your opponent from entering.
Gears
Number of Players: 4
Size: Small
Type: Ripped
My Score: 2/5
This place is okay if you want some action. But the real problem is that it is really, really small. There are boxes around,
but they offer little cover. The place has a few weapon placements around, but considering the size of the place you might
be killed before even finding one. I personally don't really like this one. But if you're looking for a place to shoot it
out like crazy without resting, this is an okay map for it.
Tips:
-Be sure to make use of the boxes scatterd around in the main opening, they are vital to maintaining your life!
-To get a break from the action, run up to the side platforms and duck behind the box stacks.
-When playing on 4 players, hide up on the side platforms behind the box stacks. When everyone else is down in the open
fighting, throw grenades down into the action, you're sure to wipe some people out.
Golden Gate Bridge

Number of Players: 2
Size: Medium
Type: Original
My Score: 5/5
OMFG! This map is so damn wicked it makes me want to cry. It is severely unfortunate that you can only play 2 players
here but, it can still be loads of fun. It has alot of easy to find weapon placements, even if it's your first time, and it
has some sweet deathtraps. It is also very interactive. You can shoot light off the side of the bridge and hear cars honking
down on the streets, there are seagulls flying around that you can hear and if you're cold hearted enough, shoot and kill
them. This map is a reference to an older James Bond film 'A View To a Kill' staring Rodger Moore as 007. It does a very good
job of making you feel like you're right there at the spot in the movie, and also make you feel like you are very high in
the sky and somewhat unsafe.
Tips:
-To suprise your opponent stay out on the rail closest to the switch that opens the floors. Get your hack ability ready
and hack the switch to drop your opponent when he or she is over the floor. This is esspecially good if your opponent doesn't
know much about eye powers.
-Get on any support rail and throw grenades in at your opponent. This makes you dangerous and difficult to locate. Using
an assualt rifle for sniping is good on the support rails as well.
Uplink

Number of Players: 2
Size: Medium
Type: Original
My Score: 4/5
The Uplink stage is actually one of the best in the game. If you don't realize what this place is, then I guess there
isn't much hope for you. This place is actually the Antenna Cradle from Goldeneye 007. For possible legal reasons, the name
has been changed. Anyway, this place is extremely good for MP battles, but why it can only have 2 players remains a mystery
to me. I mean, it is more than big enough so, why? Whatever the case, there are some great deathtraps here, like opening up
the floor to send your opponent to his or her doom. There is also an AI helicopter flying around shooting at you. It can be
fun to destroy it, but it 'dies' pretty easily. The place is pretty large, it looks great, a few weapon placements. All in
all, it makes a good spot to duke it out, with sadly only 2 people...
